HAPLA has represented Pakistan National Shipping Corporation in international financing for acquisition of vessels and acted as Transaction legal counsel (on behalf of the lenders / investors) for the acquisition financing of five (5) multi-purpose dry cargo vessels by Pakistan National Shipping Corporation as part of their fleet expansion for the year 2010. The transaction of PKR 10,300,000,000/- (Pak Rupees Ten Billion Three Hundred Million only). This was the first locally financed vessel acquisition transaction in Pakistan and was awarded ‘Deal of the Year’ by Trade Finance Magazine.

We have represented both local & international banks and financial institutions in transactions involving acquisition financing for oil tankers, aircrafts including financing to Pakistan International Airlines Corporation and Princely Jets. We regularly advise the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan on various matters.
